Danette

Head Coach

Danette came from a large background in business management in retail and at the corporate level until she grew her career in the fitness and nutrition space.

She began her health journey when she found herself struggling to lose weight in her early 30s. She was then introduced to CrossFit and a nutrition coach to help her reach her goals. She regularly attended classes and dialed in her nutrition. Her friends and family noticed the changes and would seek advice from her on how to build healthier habits themselves. She found herself sharing knowledge and providing tips to help others change their lifestyles and seeing their results over the past 10 years. She loved to inspire others through her own experiences with weight loss, performance goals, & overall becoming more fit in general.

Her passion for helping others developed into earning certifications in nutrition and fitness which led to her career change in 2019. She coached part time until she transitioned into the Head Nutrition Coach & General Manager role at her local CrossFit full time. Since then, she has mentored 3 other coaches in nutrition and holds a Pn2 Master Coach Certification. She continues to help guide clients towards their individualized goals through accountability and habit based coaching techniques as well as macronutrient plans. She finds joy in teaching clients how to balance life while incorporating small sustainable habits to help improve their overall physical and mental health.

Lindsay Nelson

Registered Dietitian

Lindsay Nelson, R.D./L.D., has been a dietitian for nine years in a wide variety of settings. She graduated from the University of Missouri and holds a Certificate of Completion in Adult Weight Management. With a passion in teaching people how to eat in a way that makes them feel and perform the best, while also finding a flexible diet, Lindsay is excited to share her passion with her clients. Most of her time is dedicated to her three boys, ages three and a half and under, teaching them all about cooking, gardening, and nature. Her husband and boys are great guinea pigs in the kitchen, always willing to try her latest food creations. On the weekends, you’ll usually find them outside on a trail, hanging out with friends and family, and always eating good food.
